«Русский архив» (Russkii arkhiv) - Russian historical journal


The journal’s mission is to introduce into scientific circulation the new historical sources, as well as presenting results of modern research on the situation in source study, trends and mechanism of its development. The journal’s objective is the maximal expansion of body sources on the history and culture of Russia, raising the level of general and special source studies, archaeological culture of documentary publications.

The journal publishes the various sources of official and personal origin on the history and culture of Russia, the articles of source, archaeological and archival orientation, as well as reviews on documentary publications and scientific events on these issues both in Russian and English languages. The advantage is given to the previously unpublished materials. The subject of published materials is limited by the history and culture of Russian Imperial, Soviet and post-Soviet period (XVIII – beginning of XX centuries). The article dateline is in English.

 

The Editorial Board invites researchers to publish articles about their achievements.

 

This is an open access journal. The journal does not have article processing charges (APCs) and article submission charges. The journal allows the author(s) to hold the copyright and retain publishing rights without restrictions. When using the materials in non-commercial purposes the link to the organization is required. The commercial use is prohibited. 


The journal is registered in the Federal Service for the Supervision of the Mass Media, Communications and the Protection of Cultural Heritage (Russia).
