Abstract:
This is the first time they are publishing the diary of military physician assistant in the Russian Imperial Army S.V. Bykovsky. The notes span July, 1914, through October, 1915, the events in Poland and in East Prussia. The diary is written in the form of a chronicle. It contains daily notes of troop movements, of combat losses for the Russian and German armies, and a characterization of military unit stations.
